Hey there, fellow dreamers and desk adventurers! We’re The Jongleurs Dream, a two person team running our little fantasy plush empire from the cozy corners of our home. If you’ve ever wondered who’s behind those adorable desk buddies, well, here we are! Let us take you on a journey through who we are, what we do, and why we do it.
Who Are We?
We’re The Jongleurs Dream—a creative duo who decided to turn our shared love of fantasy, gaming, and crafting into something magical. The name itself is a nod to the playful spirit of medieval entertainers (jongleurs), and we like to think our creations bring a little bit of that whimsy into your everyday life.
What Do We Do?
We make fantasy plush items, lovingly called desk buddies. These aren’t just any plushies—they’re tiny companions designed to bring a smile to your face and a touch of fantasy to your workspace (or gaming setup!). Right now, our focus is on table plushies, but we’ve got some exciting plans brewing for future creations. Stay tuned!
Why Do We Do It?
It all started during the pandemic. Like so many others, our photography business took a hit, and we found ourselves at a crossroads. While playing Vermintide, we fell in love with the Globadier character and decided to make a plush version for fun. We shared a photo on the Steam forum, and to our surprise, the community went wild for it! People started asking if they could buy one, and before we knew it, our Etsy shop was born.
But it’s not just about making plushies—it’s about spreading joy. Having our little Globadier on our desk while we played brought us so much happiness, and we wanted to share that feeling with others. Every desk buddy we create is a little piece of that magic, meant to brighten your day and remind you that even in the mundane, there’s room for wonder.
Why a Blog?
We’ve been dreaming of starting a blog for a while now, and we’re so excited to finally make it happen! While we love Instagram, it can feel a bit like a “hit and run” platform—quick posts, quick scrolls, and not much room for depth. We wanted a space where we could share our story, our process, and our journey in a more personal and meaningful way. Think of this blog as a cozy corner of the internet where you can sit back, relax, and get to know us a little better.

For now, we’re focused on our desk buddies and continuing to grow our Etsy shop. But who knows what the future holds? We’ve got plenty of ideas bubbling away, and we can’t wait to bring them to life.
